Project: Designed Mandai Wildlife Group's Ranger Buddies Teacher Resource Centre, an interactive educational platform transforming online resources into captivating learning journeys for students.

Challenge: Craft a platform that empowers teachers to seamlessly blend education with adventure, immersing students in the magic of Singapore's diverse ecosystems.

Solution: Created an intuitive portal bursting with vibrant visuals, interactive activities, and customizable lesson plans. Teachers download resources that they can use in class, allowing their students to embark on virtual safaris through the Zoo, Bird Paradise, River Wonders, and Night Safari, encountering fascinating creatures and unlocking the secrets of the wild. One of the key features of this platform is its digital iPad learning trails at Mandai’s parks, specially designed with gamified challenges according to various educational topics.

Impact: The platform engages teachers in Singapore, ignites curiosity in young minds, fosters student team work through shared experiences, and strengthens Mandai's commitment to conservation education. On 10 November 2023, as part of a pilot program, Mandai hosted ~80 students from Gan Eng Seng Primary School and Zhang De Primary School to try out the very first digital learning trail at Bird Paradise. 100% of students successfully completed the full journey within the stipulated timeframe, with both schools’ teachers and students giving positive feedback that they would love to be back for the next one!
